Nearby Nakiska Mountain – the home of the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics Alpine events - offers over 1021 skiable acres of cross country as well as downhill skiing and snowboarding for all levels of expertise. Set on the face of Mount Allan, Nakiska has 28 trails with six lifts (2 high speed quads, 1 Triple, 1 Double, 1 Poma lift, 1 Magic Carpet) set up over an area of 3 kmsq (1.2 sq mi).
